| unity006 | 04-24-2013 05:29 AM | Which is better for stealth, Business or Personal eBay/PayPal accounts? As per title: Which is better for stealth, Business or Personal eBay/PayPal accounts?
I am wondering which category is better to use when first opening an account and also later on to make sure account is more solid? |
GreenBean | 04-24-2013 06:01 AM | Some will say personal choice.
I go the business way with accounts.
Allows my plan of selling to be more flexible, especially with my UK accounts.
An account is as good as the way a seller operates it.
Your choice should be based on your own plans and ideas for doing stealth.

oompaloompa | 04-25-2013 03:42 AM | for stealth definately business all the way..... |
Agree with the business option - also depends on how much you are selling... |

Obviously different people have different oppionions......Me
Personally i think the best option is business Eby and Personal PP But thats what suites me best.....you have to decide whats best for you because what is best for one person might not be for another. |

Personal or business eBay and PayPal account for new stealth?
If registering with business details |
empirestate | 12-28-2015 06:12 AM | Re: Which is better for stealth, Business or Personal eBay/PayPal accounts? Personal then convert to business when they start asking for EIN. |

Totally different system.

If registering with business details | I've always found Premier Paypal linked to a business Ebay the best combination to use.
It really comes down to how you plan to use the account. If you are just selling bits and pieces from around the house, a personal account is fine. If you are buying and reselling on ebay for profit, then use a business account. |
humblebundle | 04-22-2016 04:21 PM | Re: Which is better for stealth, Business or Personal eBay/PayPal accounts? f we choose a personnal PP, will they ask for a business licence when a certain limit of $$ is reach?
If yes then it's better to go with a personal PP don't you think? |
Ebayorbust | 04-23-2016 11:31 PM | Re: Which is better for stealth, Business or Personal eBay/PayPal accounts? When a personal account gets limited they can ask for proof of business however in the UK stating you are a sole trader is an acceptable response. |

:en: | Hi mate,
Just a quick question, if you could help would be greatly appreciated.
Don't we in the UK have to deal with some sort of documentation?
I've got a personal account linked to a Business PayPal and have hit all top seller requirements. If I were to change my eBay to a business account would I be met with any additional information quotes?
Many thanks in advance.
Kind Regards,
Killakk |

Ebayisbad | 04-30-2016 06:09 PM | Re: Which is better for stealth, Business or Personal eBay/PayPal accounts? Depends on preference but I would say Business Ebay and personal PP |
Re: Which is better for stealth, Business or Personal eBay/PayPal accounts? Sell a little - get personal.
Sell a lot - get business.
I run both, dont realise the difference in any way except , fees can vary depending on what category you sell. |

My sales are spread out, so they dont hit the threshold any way. But when they do, I requested one of the accounts for merchant rates and it resulted in chaos, confusion and complication - account was limited after. :(
So I thought forget it! - maybe my luck. |
mjs89543 | 11-11-2017 10:02 AM | Re: Which is better for stealth, Business or Personal eBay/PayPal accounts? Hi is this advice above still the case? I have some business/business combos as well as personal/business, personal/personal. I've tried different ones to test the waters but I'd hate to be wasting my time. I'm trying to get some history on them before I plunge in to selling theye all roughly a week old.
What's the best combination to try and steer clear on the ID checks and limits etc? I keep reading on the forums in different threads different combinations but a lot are not from 2017. Above advises business eBay/personal PayPal
The plan is to do roughly 20k per year as I have been on my legit account and spread over multiple accounts ~20 (£1500 per year on each)
Appreciate any advice |

surplus | 12-05-2017 04:41 PM | Re: Which is better for stealth, Business or Personal eBay/PayPal accounts? EBAY//
personal , free listing for 20 items, no vat or busniess info needed, doesnt show your personal info in listing.
business cost to list and better final value fees + easier to get high selling limits but shows your business info in listing, address ect.
PAYPAL//
paypal account is not the issue and very different. If you set your paypal account up for merchant, you get the bonus and less fees the more money you make.
i Always make merchant paypal account, make it clear what my goals are when i create the account,, as your forced to upgrade anyway if you sell alot, and that will result in a possible limitation as they want to know your selling goals.
@o2free - ebay can ask for anything at anytime. They are crazy ****ers. |
james_112233 | 03-30-2019 05:25 AM | Re: Which is better for stealth, Business or Personal eBay/PayPal accounts? 2019 --- bumping this thread.
Is it still a better idea to go down the Premier paypal / Business ebay route for stealth ?
I've opened 2 stealths like that but the majority of my stealths are premier / personal | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:04 AM. | |
