New account without any limits

So, I set a new account up, just now.

I cannot find any info on the limits on the account. It does not tell me anywhere how much i can or cannot sell, like any of my others.

In addition, i just did a test, went through to list some thing, selected 300 of the same thing, and i stopped at the final page before listing it, as do not want to list anything for a while yet. BUT it did let me go to the final page without the usual message of listing limits etc.

Would this suggest there are no limits on this new account?

The new tactic is the limits will hit once the items are listed.
Ex: if you try to list the 300 items, a message will pop up saying you can only list xx amount.

I get this on a few accounts. Even if you happen to list all the items, the limits might come into place soon after or you get the MC387827233 of whatever.

ash213 05-09-2013 11:14 AM

oh right, i was hoping it might be unlimited due to good info i provided ebay and a near on verified paypal account.

its weird as usually it shows on the selling part of new account how much i can list, with this account no info is there.

scared to list anything, how long should i wait before listing?

cheers everyone.

Had that on one account ages ago and it had no limits permanently! I never been able to do that again though so maybe I got really lucky.

If you do have a low risk item for sale, you should try and list one and see if limits will be placed or not.

Recent experience of mine - waited 30 days before selling - I was bored (so you can just use the info for your own decision) - I list 25 items on the first day, some ending in 1 day, some in 3, some in 5, some in 7. I got an e-mail 48 hours later stating that 15 listings had been removed because of being over my monthly limit of 10/1000 (most of the 7 day and 5 day ending). So, yes limits can be imposed after the first completed sale and just because you can list 300 prior to make one complete sale, does not mean you have an unlimited (or high limit rather) account - you have to wait for your first sale completion

list an item, and you will get told how many items you can list per month

if you dont get a "selling limits" message then you mite be in luck

but if you do get lucky, it does not mean you can list thousands

just take it easy & dont take the pi$$

i listed an item, with a timed start for tonight.
as of yet, no message about limits or anything :juggle:

ash213 05-10-2013 10:57 AM

Embarrassing really

GTB 05-10-2013 01:29 PM

bro, 25 is decent

alot of new accounts get 10 item limit

the idea is to make more accounts

eggs & 1 basket

rsot 05-10-2013 04:21 PM

Make more accounts - build them well - a lot of peopel get hit with 10/1000 or 25 - its the norm

i know bro.

i will build but im used to doing 1000 sales per month mimumum.

will take a few accounts to build that **** up :pry:

rsot 05-11-2013 10:27 AM

I hear that but it`s worse trying to push the system and not knowing that you are linked...then getting the boot :(

You do need to walk before you run - practice account creation - might luck into higher limit accounts...or speak to sellers here to buy

ash213 05-11-2013 10:32 AM

I am walking, trust me.
I have 4 accounts at the moment.
Hoping limits get raised quick as this is my sole income. Stupid i know, but im a hustler to the core.

Only to you.

Some users started with ZERO limits.

Sell to your limits monthly, let the account grow and spread sales over more accounts.

Try experimenting different ways to create accounts - rare to get an unlimited account but there is probably some method to it.

Luck.....

UK accounts are not usual to get outright unlimited accounts.

There are reports of US accounts being like that but not across the board.

Sell well and sell to your limits...

Happy Selling
