eBay asking to call back in 24 hours

Trying to create my stealth account and when adding a mobile number it has asked me twice now, yesterday morning and this afternoon to call back in 24 hours because I have tried too much....only rang once each time.

Any advice?

What are they asking you to call for? Normally they send you a verification PIN via text message when setting up a new sellers account.

Sorry , I meant try again in 24 hours, so I am putting my number in to get the pin but they just ask me to try again.

Are you clicking on the part that states send me a text message?

And does this phone accept text?

Something is wrong.

Double check the number, click send me a text.

Make sure this number has not been used before etc.

Still have to have a working non used phone that received text messages.

Do not click for them to call. Have them send a text instead with the pin code.

are you are trying to set up a seller account?

I suppose if you were to press button several million times you could bankrupt them...

check your mobile is working correctly and taking calls and put number format in correctly.

They have been offering texts or phone for a fair while now. I personally always opt for phone and have had no issues with it so far.
