Creating a seller account
 

Hi just signed up after reading through the forum for a while now .

I have made a stealth account before but have not used it for around 4 months.I want to make a new personal seller account but not sure how as the layouts changed .I used to just verify my phone number and then link my paypal but can't find this any where now.

You need to actually go through the process of creating a listing.

You can always cancel the listing straight after. ;)

Start by using the "sell" button, top of my ebay

You will need to turn the account into a seller's account. Clicking "Sell" does indeed start the process

ebay changes all the time.

Hope you sorted the steps to make the account a selling one.

Dont forget to write down all your info for the account

I can confirm that you still verify your number and link your PayPal account here in the UK.

Not what he was asking.

Previously you could create a seller account without actually listing an item. The two steps above could be carried out independently of each other by selecting them from the site map.

Didnt know that that aspect changed - nice info
