| Stigger | 06-14-2013 04:24 AM | im sure these days the max for personal accounts is 100/3500
after that they want you to upgrade, seen it on quite a few accounts now.
the limit does not get raised unless you upgrade and RING IN to discuss your business plan and such like. |
| GreenBean | 06-14-2013 05:17 AM | Take notice of the two dirty words.... ring in.
think carefully about this.

I've got personal accounts with 400 / 11500 and another with 800 / £9000. I've never phoned in or requested higher limit. These are both newish accounts (under 6 months old). |
| stevebills | 06-14-2013 05:45 AM | I will keep you all posted as i go Business and see what happens |

im simply saying what ive seen and experienced
i asked a few time before on the forum about 6-12 months ago, since around that time all perosnal ebay account i have seen have been limited to 100/3500.
it would be nice to hear feedback from others who have created personal accounts recently (last 3-6 months) and have gone passed the 100/3500 |
| Ebayorbust | 06-14-2013 02:11 PM | Didn't make the post to get a rise out of you. Just stating my own experience.
I've also got an account move to 130 / £3800 after just three days of selling. The account has two feedback and the paypal at the time was also unverified. |

Dont forget if you are going to sell to the anti-money laundering limits, documents are needed.
There may also be a chance of a rolling reserve being put on your paypal. Can your plan handle that?
If this is a new account you can decide your best choices early.

What GB is saying is that nothing is 100% with pp - what works for one person can be a miserable failure for others |
| GreenBean | 06-15-2013 07:41 PM | Correct there rsot :yar:
Nothing is 100% with ebay/paypal.
Oh, for those days.

:peace: | Not always....Anymore. |
| johnnyleeds | 06-19-2013 04:10 AM | Yeah Tizwoz today my account had its selling limits increased to 130 items or £3800 per month and they arent asking me to change it to a business account, although I guess it remains to be seen what happens when they catch me selling over 50 items per month which is double what my limit was until today... |
| john456 | 07-09-2013 03:09 AM | You can go to a business account without a LTD correct?
For US accounts, pp puts a rolling reserve once you reach a high volume of sales. As GB puts it, make sure your business plan takes that into account. Otherwise, you can be locked out of any profits until the rolling reserve starts releasing funds. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 01:54 PM. | |
