My Paypal account is temporary limited for the £1900 limit, I want to purchase something on eBay in the meantime, can I use a different credit card to checkout on Paypal using my existing eBay account?

If your pp is limited, you cant use the pp account to make purchases either. You will have to see if seller accepts other forms of payment - encourage you to communicate directly with seller and see what options are available. Some sellers have other ways of paying via credit card (e.g. Skrill).

The seller accepts credit card but when I enter my credit card details which is used on my Paypal account, it says it can't be used, can I use my other credit card to purchase?

If the seller allows credit cards as a form of accepted payment then you should be able to.

I don't know but why not try it and see what happens? It ill only take a few minutes.

Be careful of using the card on other accounts if you have any.

if your paypal account is limited you cannot send money in any way.
you need a new paypal account, but you cant use the same cards you have just used on the limited paypal account.

You MUST use a different credit card (perhaps his credit purchases are still processed through pp in some way).

Casterina, look at getting Entropay going and fund a virtual card to use...

Ask questions if you have problems. Dont use any old info for pp

The bit that says the seller accepts credit cards will basically mean they accept credit cards via Paypal. You are screwed until Paypal unlimits your account.
