| lauriat | 06-21-2013 02:39 PM | mobile dongle Last couple days, i have been trying to change my ip address, no success.
I came across mobile dongle option, but all these dongles change ip everytime you disconnect. I am going to use only 1 paypal account and no ebay. If paypal checks on me and see that i am logging in every time with new ip, they can get suspicious.
is there any pay as you go dongle with static ip? Or maybe something similar can be used? |
| Ebayorbust | 06-21-2013 02:45 PM | A 3G dongle with dynamic IP will NOT cause any issues.
A different IP everytime is not an issue.
I have been using a 3G dongle on stealth accounts for over 3 years. |

| JamesNorth101 | 06-21-2013 03:51 PM | Who is your internet with, a solution to not being able to change your IP may be possible. |
| mobilecontractsuk | 06-21-2013 05:14 PM | I use mobile internet data and get a new ip each time I reconnect.
I've never had any issues with ebay or PayPal. |
| lauriat | 06-22-2013 01:46 AM | Thank you guys, so i will just go with 3g dongle.
I am using virgin wireless broadband and everything i tried to change ip failed. Maybe someone knows how to do that? |

Regards static i.p addresses and dongals i can't remeber but i think it might be vodaphone that can do them but you might have to request it......... A Simple internet search should yeld results, i Know it did for me when i last checked. |

PayPal recognises the IP as being static or dynamic. You should not have issues
Majority of my accounts are run via dynamic IPs. They go fine
(Totally ignoring the glitches of course)
You can safely consider a dongle

| Murray | 06-26-2013 06:16 AM | I got a good deal with o2 for a mobile dongle.
Under £16 for 2gb Pay As You Go with the dongle thrown in for free and next day delivery.
I registered it (maybe a mistake, but we'll see) and they doubled my data to 4gb for free. |

| Murray | 06-27-2013 06:03 AM | It seems to be changing IP's on each connection.
Thanks for the heads up though. I'll keep an eye on it just in case. |
Make sure you keep the receipt to return the dongle if any issues :P | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:50 AM. | |
