| | | shadow | 06-22-2013 09:23 AM | Regarding ebay in todays world! Hi all,
I have been out of action for over 1 year now. I have around 8k's worth of stock, and still 14 ebay/paypal accounts.
My questions are
1) How good is eBay now in comparison to 1 year ago.
2) Has it changed in any way in terms of it being hard to sell vero?
3) I remember just as i quit, ebay brought out the 'Send a letter to the home address' which completely wiped out my stealths, are there ways around this?
4) Is it still 50/50 that your account will be either a limit of 10 items or a limit of 100 items per month (is there a way around this?).
Thanks guys. |
| Ebayorbust | 06-22-2013 09:44 AM | 1. It is still a good venue to sell on.
2. Not really. Sell VeRo, you get what's coming to you.
3. Yes.
4. All new accounts get 10/650. You can also get 25/750 by "auto" requesting it. You only get 100/3500 if you get the letter with the PIN.
In my experience about 1 in 80 gets the letter when requesting higher limits. |

Link to a PP with a verified bank account and you will raise this to 25.
To raise further (50, 80 or 100 tend to be the next step) build up feedback, and have good DSR, keep customers happy ect.
Continue to build up feedback and continue to have good DSR and your selling limits will also increase. |

| not all accounts get the letter. Are these addresses accessible? Risky to no access again. I would never put those odds on an account
For you you needed to know that these accounts might be flagged if they have been inactive for the past year.
Get them sorted for addresses, phone numbers. Start surfing and using them to create cookies etc
Do not rush |

On a side note.
the account i mentioned the other day with the 3800 raised didnt have to have a letter .
Passed 1900 PP limit without ID either. |
@OP, strongly recommend to make few accounts and spread sales - dont get caught with all your eggs in one basket |

Yeah, am quite experience with it all. Was running 50+ accounts before, when i quit a lot got banned due to non shipment. I now have around 30+, but wanted to see if it is the same ball game, as i set an account up for my friend, and he has been stuck to 10 items per month (which i have never experienced before in the past) |
