Default another increase story

Hi all, just thought I would share this with as I hope it gives as much hope to others as it has to me. After a few bits of listing but no sales I started to list properly on one of my stealths a couple of weeks ago on 10 day auction and out of 25 I sold 11 which is ok considering I have 0 feedback. The day after the auctions had ended I logged in again to clear up any late payments to get the shipped only to find my account had shot up from 25 to 80 with no feedback and no real selling history. This is certainly the quickest increase I have had and the most unexpected. Has anyone else had any increases after this month's evaluations.

I had this increase right before the review this month on an account I created and sold only one item and had no feedback , It was only 7 weeks old.
I created the account listed and sold one item in the first week and than kind of forgot about this account untill two weeks ago I logged in listed 5 items and than got an email congradulating me on being a great seller and gave me the limit raises

They are making it very tempting to start pushing them limits especially on the accounts where the 21 day hold is also gone, which could trigger a SS# or ID check most likely their intentions

Luckily we in the UK don't have the dreaded SSN. It also doesnt seem like the end of the world in the US either with the EIN being usable, not that I have yet experienced that so I couldn't say for sure. I do tend to leave it 2 months before selling to the maximum on any newly limit increased accounts. I go 50% of limit, 70% then 90-100%. Not had issues so far

Unbelievable just as we are talking received an email from ebay saying I can list more 20- 100 and $1400- $7000 , this is another account with 2 raises within 2 weeks. Funny thing is this account I was ready to scrape for getting a negative from a buyer that was scamming me and later found he gave his last 4 sellers a negative. And that was on my 4 feedback, after that I got 2 more positives than got a limit raise to 20 items than built my feedback up to 11 just yesterday and today ( just now) increased to 100items

Why wait? List more now

Why wait? List more now.
Hi Xxxxxx

Congratulations! You've been doing a great job selling on eBay, and we've noticed. How would you like to list even more? Now you can.

Here's how much you can now list every month:

User ID: xxxxxxxx

Items: 20 100

Amount: $1,400.00 $7,000.00

You can always check how much you've listed so far this month in My eBay.

Thanks for being a great seller, and we hope that you'll take advantage of this opportunity to increase your sales.

I love these EMAILS!!!

I'm getting alot of them randomly on my accounts, younger ones with barely any selling history. I can't help but feel like it's a ruse.

Yes i think it's to tempt us to sell more and go on pace for 200/20000 so they can hit us with further verification . Plus with these accounts getting raises Paypal has been following right behind lifting their holds. Luckily I have many accounts all with raises so I won't get trapped on selling too much on one account

And that's why you always should spread sales to keep below the threshold...

Yea , it's gettin me worried cause alot of my accounts are getting raises than raises again within 2 weeks , I hope I'm bein little paranoid , but I'm starting to feel like I'm being targeted as a stealth account so they are doin this to trip me up make me feel like everything is great and than hit me with the EIN/SS#. I stay real disciplined with my accounts and stay between 10-12 items a month sometimes little less and never more than $1000

Well, I had an increase at 01.15am this morning on a 1 month old account from 25 / £750 to 170 / £5400!!! 100% DSRS and 18 feedback. Can't believe it. However, other accounts that have 210 limits I have maxed out and they haven't changed but good DSRs all month. Need to check if they have reset or whether they might increase tonight.

That's good but doesn't beat my 25 to 130 on the third day of selling (with one feedback), lol.

Yes - quite weird...coupled with glitches on PP UK - seems like the eb/pp uk system has been up to something.
