Any ideas??!!

Hi there, iv just gone to withdraw some money out of a new ish paypal its been open nfor a few months but iv only just started selling on the ebay account linked to it about a week ago, i withdrew the money and got the message to say the funds would be in your bank within two hours?

I thought it took time to build it up to the point where it came out so quickly?
Im abit worried that i have linked the account to my other paypals that are quite old, im pretty certain iv been careful all different user accounts changing ip every time but this has made me second guess myself?

any ideas people? Am i worrying for nothing or does it look strange that a new account let me withdraw so quickly bearing in mind i was not emptying the account i only withdrew £20 just to see how long it would take

Thanks in advance for any help

The time for withdrawal is based on perceived risk. You're account clearly isn't seen as high risk by paypal so you've been put on instant withdrawal.

If you were linked to multiple paypal accounts, you would lose them.

Shoudnt be anything to worry about. If you were linked your account would be locked down.

Paypal underwent some changes.

It enabled some accounts to get what you are describing as instant transfer.

You are one of the lucky users.

There should not be anything more sinister.

Good Luck

Anywhere from 1-7 days to show up in your bank - just be patient and keep your PP account limitation-free.

thanks everybody thats really helpful, so basically its probley a good thing that the quick withdrawal is on the account not a bad thing!!

I've experienced a similar incident. The first time I withdrew $250 from PP to the bank, it came instantly (within 2 hrs). The next day, I decided to check whether it would still be the same and I withdrew $250 again, and it said that the money would be in the bank in 24 hours. Probably because withdrawing consecutively on two days on a new account increased the risk that my account posed.

On other accounts of mine, sometimes the money comes instantly (within 2 hrs) and sometimes it takes 72 hours (although I withdraw almost the same amount each time, almost every two days - about $1000 each time). But the money always gets deposited. and no problems yet. I may be pushing my luck, on these accounts though.

So, it's nothing to worry about, as the others have already pointed out :)

It's been a week since your post, any updates?

$500 in 2 days...depends on the age of the account...seems quite risky

If either of them are new account, then that is too much too fast. Will raise flags.

unless you're using your account sparingly, don't rely on the 2 hour withdrawal. i've had my last few withdrawals as near-instant, then today it went to 72.
