Addresses for long term multiple accounts

Hi All,

Up and running on one stealth account and doing okay but starting to think about long term protection just in case as i rely on ebay alot so just asking what address solutions do most people use for multiple accounts? I've heard mailbox rentals can be good or self storage places but I wonder how this links in with docs.
Thanks

I use either empty properties, or renal boxes.

In the past I have also used business addresses, although I no longer do this as if a large number of people work in the building generally a few will register their eBay for delivery to the business address. This has cost me a stealth account in the past.

Why would ebay ban you if you had an address with other users registered there and all good stealth details? Surely loads of "normal" people do this with work addresses etc and don't get banned?

Cheers

The issue is that you want to keep potential links to a minimum. That being said, sure there are people who use old info - by accident or unknowing of the stealth process, but since you know of the linking...best to avoid it

Good shout! Any more address ideas?

Thanks

Make up an address entirely, use an address on your same street. Loads of ways of doing it, just need to be creative.

Post boxes that can be rented tend to be the most popular as you can actually get mail via that method.

One address I use has been vacant for about 18 months and I know has had 20/30 returns or so in the period. May book a viewing for it some day and try to take all my stuff back :P

Have only ever books viewings with the estate agent normally if I need to get the address verification letter sent by eBay. Its a two person job :)

Not sure about the address credit check but eB UK manual review has been known to check electoral register...kind of hit and miss

i'm using my real address with a stealth name. i left around a year and a half before using my real address and have so far not had any problems. but just because it works for me, doesn't mean it'll work for you

That's kind of funny - Agent: hey what are you doing with that mail? You: Get lost - it's business.
