Ebay Seller account
 

Hi,

I have created a few stealth accounts now.

I have got away with not having to enter CC details on ebay or ppal on any of them

However, the latest one ive tried to set up is asking for CC details when i try to sell an item on ebay...It says "i must have a seller account" for which it keeps asking for cc details.

PRetty certain i have created it exactly the same way as the others....any suggestions????

Best way (IMO anyway) is create EB account, build browing and bidding history. Create PP and link a VCC to it, after 3 or 4 weeks go to sell on EB and link in the confirmed PP to it. Never had any issues doing it this way.

When you set them up. what else did you do?

If there was not activity, you can appear to not need to supply a funding source.

Once you list etc, then ebay decides to protect itself and asks for a funding source.

You cant do that anymore.
I have myself run into this problem but I have been able to come to a solution.

That is my own personal method but I will share a little bit.

>Look up names in other languages and translate them into English
>Open a Paypal and eBay
>Link up VCC to Paypal
>Browse in eBay
>Bid and buy low cost items
>When you have 5 feedback create a sellers account
>Within 10 of that you will be ready to sell and just link up your Paypal

Question came from a UK member.

It is perfectly possible to sell on UK ebay with UK paypal without having to gain buyer feedback first.

Whilst possible, it is not recommended.

Your Paypal verified?
I think u need a VCC also, It will help u enter to confirm cc details.

Sorry, slight omission on my part. Yes, possible to do with unverified paypal.

Possible but not recommended.

I have heard that as well but verified is still more secure - and also a proper tip for new members
