We've removed the Feedback you left

Very recently I bought an item in ebay but never receive the item because of the crappy miss leading info from the seller and the delivery company that never left a missing card so, in the end to cut the long story item was return to the sender.
I asked for refund but seller refuse to refund me and so matters went to dispute:argue: after a long battle I won the case of course.

Now as a buyer and very disappointed from the sellers crap I decide to leave negative feedback for him, and so I did. (No bad language was included)
Right, just after I left negative feedback in a matter of few sec I recieve an email by EBAY saying as shown down below:

Code:

Hello ******,

Recently, you opened an eBay Buyer Protection case for (items name xxxxx) We also received the Feedback you left for the transaction, but it's been removed from the seller's Feedback Profile because of a recent decision on the eBay Buyer Protection case.

You can always view the case details in the Resolution Centre or learn more about eBay Feedback policies.

Now, what the hell? Does this new policy mean that the end of an era of negative feedback for all bad seller on ebay or is it just my case? :mod:

no quite the opposite, this is the exception.....sometimes seller can get sympathetic ear from eb employee and get it removed, whereas same scenario most other times would not get same result...the only other slight variable is if they get extra points for being a high/power seller or you are low feedback/worth buyer and seller...but really those are still only down to who decides and usually a non abusive neg will stand...

Seller must have had a nice agent from eB or a strong reason to remove the negative feedback - a rare occurrence but it happens. Not much sense worth breaking your head about

I've had that before its usually when some stiff has tried to have it their way and you give a neg and they remove it wankers

eBay has recently changed (or is changing) circumstances under which negative feedback can be removed. It is in the fall seller update. I have not really looked closely at this yet. Supposedly, it will benefit sellers.

During this days I have to pick up my stealth phone (My babe:p ''Skype'') and try to get my anger out with ebays staff that why my feedback were removed. I even went a bit further and ask to speak to an high scum in ebay department but no joy and wast of my time.
The answer was that because the seller had provided with a tracking number (Worst delivery company in UK ''yodel'') it wasn't he's fault but the delivery people, seller asked first hand before me the ebay costumer service that to block my feedback whenever I was going to of course.

Kind of understand but what about my right to express my views and anger against the seller that refuse to refund my money in the first place???. :nono:
