3g Dongles - IMEI and going anonymous

Might seem a little over cautious but I have been using two different dongles on different phone networks.

I change my Ip address and all the other nonsense everytime logging into a different ebay (obviously).

My question is this; I bought one of the dongles with my real name card in a high street store.

Will the use of that IMEI and Phone number associated with the dongle be known to the phone company who exactly my real name is? I.e. did the highstreet store hand over those details to the phone company when I got the card.

Could this happen in the future? I want to remain as anonymous as possible; as with all good plans, one day they backfire horribley.

I got the two dongles on networks part... which are used for separate eBay stealth accounts right? That will ensure separate IP address which is what you need for stealth

Is the dongle a PAYG or contract? In either case I'm sure the phone company will have some detail on you but what does that matter?

Both are payasyougo. But I paid for the actual dongle from a shop with my normal bank card

That's fine, the phone networks or shop (if it was like CPW) will have the transaction on file but that's between you and the store.

This info isn't going to get shared with AZ or eBay as its not stored on the dongle so dont worry about it.

If it helps I personally brought a dongle for Amazon use and that dongle is on contract so the phone company has all my real details inc real address. Of course the dongle is just a clean IP address to me and more importantly to Amazon. I've been back on Amazon with stealth details and running fine for many a month now.

Yeah, I know all of this is 'softcore' but you know, I just wanted to be careful... but yeah I guess i'll continue like this.

I use three different dongles on different networks. Means I can swap user accounts and dongles in 5 seconds and be working on a different account. Total is about £25 per month so not much more than broadband.

Your card details have been stored as the person who brought that item with the product code on file.

Pay in cash or use a chinese dongle from websites like Amazon or eBay...

If your withdrawing to your UK bank your not really anonymous anyway mate
