I had a paypal account which is now closeed, but someone on ebay has put a claim in for item not described my question is, even though paypal is closed, can they still claim...tia

By closed, do you mean permanently limited?

In this instance, yes. The Paypal balance will go into a minus and they will try and recover the money from you.

If the account was in your real details, they will still pursue you (depending on the amount).

Was this account stealth or real? How long ago did you sell this item? and what info had you put into PayPal? Bank account or card number
