Trying to add new Natwest bank account to PP
 

I have removed my old bank account from paypal

I signed up for a natwest bank account and activated my account with natwest. Now today I go into PP to add the new bank account, it ask for my routing number and account number, then on the next step it asks for my card number, after I put that in I get the message below. Also note that I do not have any card on file with PP with the last two digits of ''69'' So im abit confused.

Is this a Stalth Account? If so that's why.

Never use your own debit card for a Stealth Account. Always usa a VCC.

yes, its for a stealth PP account. I do have a VCC, so I can use my VCC details for the bank account?

The ebay and paypal details should match. The VCC is for the credit/debit card part which you have above. Use the VCC details for this part.

Yeah, PP keep changing the way they do things, guess I got confused. It matched it up now without any problems. So far so good,

It's one of the many new measures Paypal have put in place when adding a bank account now.

They do as you have detailed in the thread and they also can require an automated phone verification as well.
