| | | TheGreek | 09-07-2013 01:43 PM | Recommended Dongle Sticks? Hellooooo good people.
Could you please do me a big favour and recommend me some dongle sticks with a dynamic IP address (changes every time) I used to have a 3 mobile one that did this, but i need to get a new one now, and the model i had is no longer in stores.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |

Lots of thread on this topic, have a search around. |

| TheGreek | 09-09-2013 09:24 PM | Re: Recommended Dongle Sticks? Thanks for replys, will go for 3 again.
Question: Could I use the same dongle for different stealth accounts? If the IP changes everytime I take it in and out, as long as the IP changed, would I be ok to use the same dongle for multiple accounts?
Thanks. |
Re: Recommended Dongle Sticks? Yes - the dongle itself can be used for 100`s of accounts as long as you make sure IP is different! |
| easy.bake.oven | 09-10-2013 12:00 AM | Re: Recommended Dongle Sticks? With T-Mobile, after you use up the data allowance, you can still surf net for total of 3 months, so ideal if only using for ebay.
I found Vodafone a bit naff coz it install stuff on your computer and it messed up my network a little. Also, they expensive and there is no need for it I feel.
I used to use 3 (three) but found T-Mobile cheapest and ideal as I only surf and not download so I get 3 months for price of 1 month as mentioned in first paragraph.
What I do is buy a new T-Mobile dongle with sim and £10 credit on there from shops for £25. You get 3gb allowance. It lasts me 3 months as mentioned and also it is proper anonymous. After 3 months I throw the whole lot in the fire (sim and dongle) and go buy another all fresh and not trackable to me at all.
I you have no need to be that anonymous then you can buy dongle and sim and when credit/allowance runs out in three months, you can just top up and you get 3 months again from a single topup.
All depends on what your need are and how para you are.
I went to the shop and purchase all the dongles and checked out for myself which was best and fastest for me.
Hope you find the best one for you.
Bye. |

Thanks. | Certainly the dongle can be used for multiple accounts.
What I prefer to do is have different dongles. Variety is good with stealth.:)
That way I totally spread my IPs out to avoid linkage. Just a little trick I got taught ages ago.

use airplane mode to change ip addresses when u r using portable wi-fi hotspot
which lets u use your phone as an internet access point
its the best deal out there i have looked |
| clapclap | 09-14-2013 05:22 PM | Re: Recommended Dongle Sticks? 3 all the way. simply unplug it between user account and you will never have a problem. I have used one 3 dongle all the time I have been doing stealth and never had a problem. |

Have a good reception area.
3 rocks for stealth.

| no!!! | 09-16-2013 09:13 PM | Iam using a Vodafone dongle, and it's starting to reuse same IP address i've used before. So was wondering if i bin the sim & dongle, and buy a new sim & dongle, will i be getting the same IP addresses again?
Are a pool of IP addresses used for a sim & dongle? or is pool of ip address shared with everyone?
Also is tethering give you same results as a dongle? |
Tethering gives you variety of IPs but will depend on your provider - different provider, different set of IPs.../idea lightbulb Quote:

| stevebills | 09-19-2013 06:50 PM | Re: Recommended Dongle Sticks? just to make it clear the 3 sim card is better than a dongle as its unlimited tethering
Tethering on your phone.
Tethering is when you connect your phone to other devices to use it as a modem so they can access the internet.
If you're on The One Plan you can use the internet when you're out and about with other devices including laptops, tablets and games consoles, just by connecting them through Wi-Fi or USB to your phone. You can tether on all our One Plan tariffs including our one month rolling SIM plan. |
| JomJarr | 09-22-2013 10:28 AM | Re: Recommended Dongle Sticks? I would buy a dongle from ebay (one you can put a SIM card into!) , secondhand and then get a SIM only deal. normally only like £3 + postage.
The Huawei ones have Huawei software available on their website which means you can use branded dongles with other networks. On some dongles, it means changing the firmware back to a generic Huawei one too.
I use an older laptop with a PCMCIA Vodaphone dongle with a 3 SIM, using the generic Huawei software. In my world, USB dongles get in the way, stick out and get damaged (unless connected by a short USB extension cable).
Using the Huawei software, I dicsonnect and reconnect and get a new IP.
In the future I'll probably tether with a 4LTE phone connection. |
