I have an older ebay account with 100% feedback no limits im after some advice on how proceed with it. It hasnt got a paypal i dont really want to link one of my exisiting paypals to it as i like to keep one ebay to one paypal obviously. Im thinking i really need to add a new stealth paypal to it but will this jepordize it at all?

Ive ran stealth accounts before so understand il have to go slow with it a build it up bit by bit

thanks

Is there recent selling history?

eBay may see this as a new account in any case.

Has it been inactive long?

Let the account have its own PayPal to avoid linking yourself.

Do you think it would be ok to add a new verified stealth paypal to and start real slow?

Has this eB EVER had another pp associated with it? Check your old e-mails on the account.

WOAH!

That is different.

PayPal still has a record of that old PayPal account, for starters.

I guess the only thing u can do is to open a Paypal account a new one using all the same contact information as the ebay account

I'm really not sure how ebay will look at this since they already know a Paypal account has been attached previously, and just start off slow and see what happens.

Are you selling in the same category of items as it was used before or are you going to sell completely different ??

This is a tough situation maybe someone with experience can give some insight, to me it has red flags flying up everywhere

Unless you know the person really well and they dont mind you setting up a pp account the problem is to link with this ebay account you have to create another PP in their identity. What happened to the old pp account is it still in use and linked to anything else right now? This has alarm bells ringing to me the more i think about it!

Don't forget if you add a new PP account and you get hit with the docs procedure they will want DOB etc and photo ID you could come undone.

What if you keep the ebay account and just use another payment option like skrill? That would make things alot easier and safer!

Sad thing is the account might have no selling limits but it has a fairly major no payment method limit.

Needs a lot of thought to deal with this and caution.

And there is the major point. If you dont have access to the paypal...setting up a new one could lead to bad problems.

You COULD give it a shot but...since all info has to match, you are taking a risk.

You could explore other accepted payment methods for the eb account....
