MC067 - relisting same item and disregarding damage to account

I have received MC067 to my account. two months ago.

eBay asked me not to list it again. But I am going to change photos description and category and relist it again.

I can see other people are selling this item

I have got this notice:

All associated fees have been credited to your account. If your account status has changed due to this item removal, we'll send you a separate notice.

We reviewed your item(s) and determined it presents a high risk of creating a bad buying experience on eBay. This decision was made based on our continuous reviews of transaction on eBay and any bad buying experiences that have been brought to our attention.

Unfortunately, some listings on eBay have resulted in claims and/or negative feedback from buyers stating the item is not as described, poor quality, or concerns with authenticity.

The listing(s) we removed on your account showed many similarities with listings that have previously resulted in bad buying experiences. Based on these similarities, we ask that you do not attempt to relist these removed items on eBay. While we have not placed a violation on your account at this time, relisting these items will result in restrictions and/or suspension of selling privileges.

For any future items you may list, you will need to ensure it is of good quality and comes from a reputable supplier. If branded, you are responsible to ensure the item is auThe listing(s) removed from your account showed similarities to listings that have resulted in bad buying experiences, such as complaints from buyers that the item is of poor quality or inauthentic. If eBay catches the listing, the account is history.

If you like playing with fire go ahead but knowing so please know you will most likely be caught. Also, the "others are selling" excuse doesn't work, we have heard it 1,000,000 times.

You obviously are selling a high risk item and ebay is trying to protect itself.

Recommendation:
1. Build more feedback
2. Make more stealths

Sigh - you are asking for trouble. If you REALLY want to sell this item, experiment on a NEW stealth account - not the ideal idea but hey, your choice.

Sounds like a good way to look an account to me.

If you must re-list it, I would do so at the very least on another account.

Whatever to OP decides to do, they should understand this...

eBay, for WHATEVER reason, has a problem with the item you are trying to sell. It really does not matter WHY they don't like it, but we know they don't like it because they sent you a notice that they closed your listing and have asked you not to relist it.

It is natural to be a little bit angry when you look on eBay and see other sellers able to sell the same item. You feel discriminated against. Why did *I* get mine taken down, and not them too???

But that is beside the point. Here are the facts, hard though they may be:

1) If eBay catches you relisting this, you will lose the account.

2) Stealth MAY be the answer, but since eBay does not like this item, you are going to have a VERY HARD TIME selling it on eBay, at least in any volume.

eBay is not fair. It never has been and it never will be. That is just something that we cannot change. All we can do it use the system they put in place to our advantage.

As a seller, I don't care WHAT I sell, as long as it is legal and I can make a profit. If eBay has a problem with one of my items, I just move on to the next one.

BAD for you and GOOD for everyone else here.

There will be 1 less account out there we will have to compete with. :thumb:

If eBay has removed this item and give you this warning about this item I'd cut your losses and move on

A few years back the same happened to me so I completely changed the listing, changed the pictures and listed as a new item

I no longer have that account and you can probably guess why

Good luck if you go ahead as planned but you'd have to be very lucky
