Best Way To Save Yourself From The Dashboard of Death!
 

ok ive been stupid...

Newish stealth account with one low rating for slow shipping by an idiot who got his item shipped the next day...

However last week I was made redundent without notice just before payday and had sold about 5 that same day... In a panic of how im going to pay rent I was slow with shipping and the first one to leave feedback had left me another low rating bringing it upto two. I emailed all the buyers explaining and even sent a printed note with my excuse and a small partial refund attached saying sorry. Most of them have been ok, but to make it worse I booked a collection with parcels2go (Yodel) and they didnt turn up, I rebooked and they didnt come again either so I rebooked with TNT and they collected and I stuck a load of freebies in the box to compensate too, so his was really delayed.

Anyway im pretty my score is going to go up to at least three... and as its a fairly new account (40 something feedback) I dont want to sell to the 150 item limit in case it raises flags... Is there anything else I can do to save the account or should I just sell a steady 20 items a week and hope I get no more bad ratings?

I would got he slow and steady, buying also helps as you get feedback although not seller feedback it still all helps build that important positive history.

Of course the best thing to do is start building up more stealth accounts just in case as if this one goes under, you still have others being built up in the background.

You dont have to sell on these just buy occasionally small cheap items to get feedback and history going.

Then go down the route of slowly selling cheap quick to post light (no more than 100g) items that will fit no bigger than RM's large letter format. That way if your strapped for time and commitments, the worse you have to do if just find your nearest post box to send items. Oh and buy some large letter stamps beforehand!

If you have not already, start to build up some stealth accounts.

Best method to improve your shipping DSR % is to sell small cheap items and posted them the same day. Using RM 1st class letter, or large letter service should do nicely.
