How long will a really ebay deail be kept for
 

Hi I was banded from ebay 4 years ago for no reason since then I have had stealth accounts which I have bought, but I was thinking of doing one with my really name and address as it's been 4 years or will ebay and pay pal still have my details thanks for your help, also I have another thread if any one can help with that one thanks

Yes eB and PP keep all these details for LONG LONG time - you can use old info - name can be played with - address: get new one and stick to it.

All good - name variation can be done but really aim to be stealth.

Don't "might just try it" - go in - ask questions as you set up your account for clarification :)

If you are applying stealth correctly this should not be an issue.

I was originally suspended some years ago & do have a real legit account again now however I dont really use it for anything other than the odd purchase.

Much easier to stick with stealth!

Last time I checked a UK business has to hold onto details for at least six years unless they have a written request by the person to dispose of all their details through the data protection act

But some people do have luck using the same name and address over and over after their accounts have been killed in the past.

The question is how long have these accounts lasted. I would bet that its no more than a few months. With correct stealth methods account can easily last for years.

I suppose it depends if ebay and paypal really want rid of you or if like most things with ebay and paypal it is appearance, as in reality these accounts should not even be able to open if they were serious about stopping them.

The MIL passed away 10/11 years ago -Grandad had a phone call the other month about her ebay account and did he want it closed. As far as I know she had not used it for a year or two before that either. It literally had not been touched for all those years. So yes seems like they hold on to the details for a long time. This was a uk account.
