Hi I put a message on last night and since have bee searching the site. I bought my stealth account just over 2 years ago when address was not so much of a issue. The address and phone number on the account do not exist. Do you think ebay r on to me? How I work returns is put cards in to the packages as where to send the item back to. Do you think if I just add a real phone number this will sort the problem? This is the email I got

It's very likely being caused by the phone number.

Get a working number added asap. A mobile number will do.

You should consider changing the address to one that exists as well. If this were my account, this is what I would do.

did you put in a number that cannot exist like 0533 533 353?

ok so they tested it. I thought it might be an automated flag for wrong format.

then they are on to you and checking manually. This is rare but does happen, usually you can sign up with pretend info.

You need to be careful.

so you need to add a number of a new sim in your phone, in case they test it.

as for address, any way you can tweak it for one that exists? like you inputted it by mistake? If not suppose you need a new a whole new address.

think this accs success could be 50/50...update us.

So if I add a phone number do you think this will be enough.if I was to change address say I had moved how do I go about using a address I have access too say op box or mailing company will I need to send docs to pay pal thanks for your help

changing address is a big flag, it will send you in to the world of suspicious user behaviour and then you will probably at the very least need a working number to get a verification pin. You may even be asked for docs, depends. Change of address can mean hack to them.

I would first add the number, then wait, leave address unless prompted by another error message or email. You can always amend address later.

yes new number, it is just a sim, activate, no need for credit, just so you have a working number on the acc.

which address is up to you, a box is prob only best for a business acc.

Hi it is a business account as it's 2.5 years old and limit 2500 items a month and £24000 which I was nearly meeting every month and thinks that's why they may have tyres to contact me to up my limit thanks for all your help thanks
