Selling limits UK ebay account 3 months old
 

Hi guys,

I have a stealth account which is 3 months old. Ebay put selling limits 30items, 2000 pounds...

Even I have 30 active listings , the systems shows:

You have sold 1 ( I sold 18 in a current month)

You have listed (active) 0 ( I have 30 active listings)

You can list 29 out of 30


Can I list more? Or they are checking me? Please advice if someone else are in the same situation.

This is a glitch in the system.

I have a new account with 125/3500 and i have 125 items listed and it says i can still list 125 items... However, if you try listing more it won't let you!!!

I've had the same thing over the past few weeks.

Its just a glitch.

Even if it was allowing you to list beyond the limit I would not bother, it will only bring greater scrutiny of the account from eBay.

Its nothing to do with glitches some categories do not use your allowance and some do thats all it is.

How did you manage to get 125/3500 on a new account if you don't mind me asking?

Maybe they bought it off here, just like we did, the thing is nurturing it towards and over the Christmas period and then get into the New Year with careful increase in the listings and hopefully in the income

You make it sound like the only way to get high limits on a new account is to buy it??

Thread is from 2013 so times were bit different then...with regards to opening limits or chances of getting better opening limits

Posts from 2013 are not that current as regards account purchasing.

Some infomation is still relevent even 3/4 years after a thread was started.
