New UK Basic Bank Accounts
 

Hi everyone

Im still very new to this forum but in the process of setting up some stealth accounts.

I can only apply for basic UK bank accounts due to a problem with a business I was involved in going into liquidation.

Is there a limit to the number of UK basic bank accounts someone can open or will I run out of banks?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

By the way.....this forum is a lifesaver!

No limit; you can even have multiple basic accounts with the same bank.

There is no real answer to this and basic bank accounts is the best way to go with stealth but dont try to open too many at once!

I know that credit checks are not required for basic bank accounts, that's what they are there for but banks and financial institutions still have to append to the law of money laundering etc and if you open too many accounts at once, they will potentially flag you or close your accounts.

There's no golden rule on how many to open over what time period but I've hear an account every 2 months quoted and I for one would agree that this is a sensible time frame.

Dont go nuts opening them. Try to keep it to 1 every 2 months at the very most.

i think the problem i'm coming across is the limit for how to get vcc or proper cr or debit cards....

For stealth you never use an bank issued Credit or Debit card as it will have your real details assigned to it.

VCCs are good n cheap and you can pick up one in your local high street.

really?? forgive me for asking but where? ive only ever come across vcc online like entropay.

Entropay is the one you want to use. You can also use things like 3V

You can make upto 20 cards, so generally 1 ento is enough.

James has mentioned 3V which is one you can buy in supermarkets like Tesco or Morrisons.

Now see I ask in tescos the other day about 3v and they looked at me like I had t:argue:wo heads!

Yes you can use the same debit card to fund your entropay cards.

Boots I find is the best place to get 3V's

this happend with me and barclays not used so they shut it and was £48 in it,,
but worked out well as i went in got my money back ( took about 6 weeks) but opened a new bank accout with new number..LOL.
