Stealth will work. But ebanned has a valid point in that you will have to build up the account first by selling smaller items first.
My suggestion would be to sell a bunch of small, low-risk items that cost a few dollars that you can buy locally. Profit is NOT the goal with these items, but you don't have to lose money or anything.
You could sell some things you have around the house, like books, or an old appliance or things like that. Your local dollar store can be another good source of items.
Just be sure to note any defects honestly, ship quickly and be professional at all times. Your selling limits will be raised and in a couple of months you should be able to start listing sofas. Selling limits tend to get raised quickly once eBay sees that you are NOT selling high-risk items, counterfeits, or mis-described items. Selling the small stuff in the beginning will build their trust.
One last thing. Did you get banned for selling sofas before? If so, you should figure out what got you banned so that you don't repeat the problem.
