Your stealth account could work, but you would have to build it up first to raise selling limits. You couldnt start a stealth account and just start selling sofas, you would have to build up the account by selling some household items, build up feedback and get your limits raised.

The only other thing you need to consider with stealth is your address, if your old account is linked to your current address you will need a stealth account with an address not linked to you and a way to direct buyers to your new address. The best way would be to ask for their phone number, ring them and just give them address over the phone. Never share the address over ebay messages and you dont want to link yourself with any new accounts.

Stealth will work. But ebanned has a valid point in that you will have to build up the account first by selling smaller items first.

My suggestion would be to sell a bunch of small, low-risk items that cost a few dollars that you can buy locally. Profit is NOT the goal with these items, but you don't have to lose money or anything.

You could sell some things you have around the house, like books, or an old appliance or things like that. Your local dollar store can be another good source of items.

Just be sure to note any defects honestly, ship quickly and be professional at all times. Your selling limits will be raised and in a couple of months you should be able to start listing sofas. Selling limits tend to get raised quickly once eBay sees that you are NOT selling high-risk items, counterfeits, or mis-described items. Selling the small stuff in the beginning will build their trust.

One last thing. Did you get banned for selling sofas before? If so, you should figure out what got you banned so that you don't repeat the problem.
