Uk dongle advise
 

Hi,

Looking to get a dongle for my stealth accounts. Is anyone using a internet dongle? Also what is the internet speed like?

Hi Mrtazz,

I used a three dongle - had no problems with speed.

I would advise checking each dongle providers website as they often tell you the speed in your area before taking the plunge.

How many GB do you use a month? thinking of getting one myself I'm currently running 10 accounts and i log on each about 2-3 times daily, seen some with 1GB and 6GB per month, how much do you think i will need,

Also I have a contract phone on 4G could I just get the dongle and put my sim in to use it? And would the speed be the same? thanks

Wicked. Will have a look on 3 website. What sort of speed should I be looking for?

I don't use the dongle much to be honest, maybe 2 hours in total a week so think best bit would be going pay as you go.

I've read somewhere that some providers have set IP address for the SIM card in the dongle.

Would love to get 4g but it's not available in my area untill middle of next year.

Nah I've got unlimited usage with sky so never really checked tbh, I've got a 4G contract with O2 for my iPhone and I get 1GB data, but for an extra £5 a month I can get 6GB so could i just get the extra data for £5 a month then stick the SIM card in a dongle?

Tbh I don't know much about dongles. From what I've been told the IP address on O2 contract is set and doesn't change. So account linking is likely. Your better of getting that confirmed. 6gb for eBay usage only should be more than enough I think.
