Default Removing EXIF data from photos on mac

Hi

I downloaded the FREE EXIF data removal program for the mac but it leaves a watermark (a big x across the photo). Will this cause problem when uploading to EB?

I have other pcs etc so should I clean the pics on another pc with the windows program(batch purifier) and transfer with a memory card or will the pc data transfer also?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I use "Photo Privacy" on my Mac. Got it from the Mac App Store.

No watermarks...

I can't remember if it was free or cost a couple of bucks. It's super easy and quick to use. No complicated layouts or a million confusing options to choose from.

Does anyone know if this is fine to use to clear exif date from my photo's on my iPhone? it seems very simple to use just select photo then press clear! is that it? can I then use the cleared photos on more than one account?

my opinion, best thing to do is to try it.

Use the app to delete exif data and check the result on a PC:

Windows - Right-click on an image, select "Properties", and switch to the "Details" tab.
Mac OS X - Right-click on the picture, click "Get Info", and expand the "More Info" section.

or just with a Metadata Viewing Software. Plenty of them on google search.

In my experience, photo Metadata are gone as soon as you use a photo editor software (i.e. photoshop) to cut or adjust the photo, and save it to another file.
If you have plenty of them it is not a viable way unless using macros.
