Buyer protection case closed by ebay :(
 

Hi guys,
Just come back from holiday to find out that somebody had opened a case against me in the resolution centre and as I was unable to reply eBay have obviously closed it in the buyers favor along with a nice neg feedback.

It's the unresolved case that bothers me more than the feedback. I've spoken to the buyer and he was fully understanding and said he will change the feedback if I send him a request.

My question is, when he changes the feedback to positive, will the unresolved case also be removed?? I know the DSR's get changed/removed along with the feedback but I'm pretty sure the unresolved case is gonna be stuck on my dashboard :(

I am pretty sure the resolution of the case still stands. I would be more than happy just to get the neg switched to a poz.

Simply do not go on holiday and sit and stare at your computer screen 24/7 as that is what both buyers and EB require. : )

It will still stand as unresolved.

A pain yes, but nothing can be done about it now.

What happens if you mark your account as away on holiday if you can still do that, does that stop them closing or opening a case?
