Merging accounts software
 

Hi all,

Quick question for you that use multiple accounts - I find it ever so annoying and timely keep having to switch between accounts to pack orders etc.

Is there software that can bring down the orders from all my accounts and just list them in an ADDRESS // NAME // ITEM type format so I can dispatch? Then when I have time I can just change IP / USER and mark all as dispatched.

Any ideas?

Will that not link my accounts by using this software? Having multiple eBay accounts logged in through this application under the same IP?

If you don't mind using the ebay details rather than the paypal ones why not get an email program like thunderbird or what ever that one is on windows.
Set each of the emails on there then just write them down from each account without having to link to ebay.

You may have to copy and paste them if you print them.

Had thought someone would have created a program that would work through the email system but no one has done it yet.

Thanks I will do that. I don't use PAYPAL details ever, always eBay as people are more likely to update the eBay details.

Yeah it used to be more of an issue in the past when paypap covered the buyer protection, as the buyer would have a different name on ebay than they did on paypal.
The seller would send the item to the ebay address and then the buyer would claw back, as paypal would claim it could not look into the accounts on ebay it would refund the seller for item not received.

No idea what happens in the case of a card claw back these days with paypal but I like most people assume it should not be a problem.

Just do not allow images, as they are loaded with the flash cookies that are the problem and the obvious of don't follow the links.
Still not sure what the flash cookies are sending back, if you use a neutral user account that does not sign into ebay then I doubt they would be able to harvest the info from the email alone. but in this day and age why take the chance.

Never used it and would not for your purposes.

If it access' all accounts at once you're toast.
If it is like the last one of these I tried that will not allow you to sign out of one account before signing into the other, so you have to switch accounts rather than log out, then you are toast.
if it uses its own explorer to agree to the token then it is a bitch to clear its cookies if at all possible.
there are a dozen other reasons that others will know but stick with the email is my advice.
