Default dispatching items

Need some advise asap

So royal mail are now charging £2.60 to send something 2nd class, when it used to cost me £2.20

I know its only 40p, but im wondering if anyone uses any other service to get items delivered?

Thanks

Have you looked into a franking machine, or PPI? Saves 20-30% on postage costs.

No one will be cheaper than £2.60 to delivery an item, closest is around £3.50

How much is the franking machine and hows it work?

Do you have to pay a monthly on it?

PPI would be a better IMO.

Printed Postage Impressions (PPIs) make it easy for your organisation to post and pay for your high-volume mailings through an account with Royal Mail | Royal Mail Group Ltd

Hmm will look into it

Considering you have to print it off its an extra cost. Might not be much difference overall.

You can get 5,000 labels for £35, which equals 0.007p per label.

Definitely works out cheaper since you will save at least 11p per stamp, most the time a fair bit more.

So unless you print them all at home yourself using very expensive paper and ink you will without a doubt save money.

PPI > Franking > OTC Customer

Should be able to, but as I said you can buy 5000 in for £35 or so, much easier IMO.

You can even buy them in in lots of 100, just have a look on eBay

Pretty much, bit of paper work to fill out and then you can take them to the local post office.
