High selling limits
 

Hi all,

First off a big thanks to all who contribute to this forum, great information, I'm working my way through it!

OK, my old eBay business trading account has been indefinitely suspended due to 2 low DSR scores. I've appealed & failed (surprisingly...). I'm pretty sure I know what to do to go stealth, but my biggest issue is the items I sell are high volume/value.

I sell used motorcycles, and used motorcycle parts. At peak 2 bikes a month (average value say £2500), 250 parts (average value say £20). I need to turn that sort of volume to be viable.

So the questions are, am I flogging a dead horse by establishing stealth accounts as I'll need to manage far too many to handle the volume with the standard £1900 per year limit. Can I get/buy a single stealth account that will give me a high enough limit?
And, are bikes listed on eBay motors subject to the same selling limits?

Any help/advice/tips would be gratefully received

You can easily achieve what you are wanting to do with 3-5 accounts.

The £1900 limit is not a probem...

Like I said, research and reading the forums thoroughly is key.

sorry to but in - but I have bought a stealth account with 25 item limit - it has come with a paypal with it (which I am going to link to a new bank I have) BUT paypal limit is 1900 ... I will be selling dresses for 37... 25 a month means I will almost meet this 1900 paypal fee straight off - is there no way I cant link this new stealth account to my old ''paypal'' account if change my paypal address (and add the new bank account)

or is this too risky?

will I just have to try and provide stealth documents to lift my paypal limit ?? is this the only option?

You will hit the 1900 at some point anyway - I think there is more trust from paypal if you lift the limits before selling PLUS you don't need to do it and interrupt trading.

Course you can't link to your old PP it will be linked and limited instantly.

Dont try running high amounts through new stealth accounts.

Spread your sales over multiple accounts - it also spreads the risk, then if you lose 1 account you can shift onto another.

£1900 limit is not a problem.
