adding bank account to Paypal help
 

trying to add bank account to paypal , bank name is different as paypal , after I put the bank details paypal had the following message 'We're sorry, but we weren't able to confirm your identity and can't let you link a bank account at this time.' what happened? thanks , its a First direct current account . never been used before thanks

Do you have a VCC attached to the paypal? Have you confirmed your address?

its a verified pp account, had a bank account linked but need to close that bank account.
very strange cant add anymore bank account. maybe pp now check bank name?

p/p cannot see the name on a bank account so it is more than likely a glitch with their system.

Been many reports of this recently where people have been having problems adding bank accounts.

Try waiting a day or two then try again, if that fails call them up and they will add it manually for you.

Paypal is full of glitches - 1) try again in 24-48 hours 2) if that fails, call them up and have them add it.

What bank you working with OP?

use hsbc, never fails
