How many accounts?
 

Am now wondering

Shall i open four different ebay businesses or have one big business?

What would be better bearing in mind I am wanting to register them all as ltd's.


The businesses will probably be in different categories and not related.

These are the catogories that the businesses would be in

Technology
Furniture/Home
Automobiles
Health

I don't think it would be sensible linking them all into one business.

As when buyers purchase I want to give the impression that I specialise in that sector.

Or shall i set it up like this

quite like this set up so it could be like:



Financial Office Ltd t/a Express Furniture
Financial Office Ltd t/a DIY tools


Do you think buyers will mind If I sell taps and tablets (an example)

In my opinion it gives the customer confidence if the business deals in just one category (or a related category) such as tablets and mobile phones (an example)

What are your experiences on this?

Separate accounts for each category would be the best option but with multiple accounts within each category to further spread the risk.

All registration information across accounts must be totally unrelated to any of the others i.e. different names, dob's, addresses, bank accounts, phone numbers, IP addresses etc.

With regards to potential business names AVOID anything like the example you have used above as this would immediately create a link between all accounts.

stay separate and if I were you keep dif details as well so if one accounts closes your business can still continue
