International Signed For parcel to China lost?

Hi, I sent a parcel out by royal mail international signed for to China on 01/03/14. Tracking shows it arrived in China on 05/03/14 but shows no movement since then. I'm getting a little worried as it has still not been delivered.
Has anyone had experience of sending to China? If so, is it often that parcels go missing or are often delayed? I'm not sure who delivers parcels in China on behalf of RM but its safe to say they are pretty damn slow. Or am I overreacting and worrying for nothing? Expected delivery time says 5-7 working days...

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

When it gets to China it can take another week to be delivered. Total time with RM for me to China tends to be 2-3 weeks.

international signed for with royal mail is pointless, you will never get a signature on the other end unless you request it specifically via a royal mail claim and that will then take another 6 weeks or so at which time paypal claim will be lost

Cheers James, maybe it's best to let it wait another week? Just hope it doesn't come down to an 'item not received' PP claim.

Do you know why it takes so long? China's customs, slow delivery, etc?

Thanks

Knowing what I have heard about Chinese customs, they've probably opened the package, taken what they want from it and resealed it. :s

Don't be worried. :nono:

When they open it they'll realise it originated from China due to the poor quality and lack of authenticity. They'll pop it back in the box where it will sit in a corner gathering dust for a few weeks before delivery. ;)

Item is 100% legit so that won't be an issue.
Seriously though, have you had experience of slow delivery when sending to China?
