Business Account

Hi,

I have had a stealth account for 2 and a half months, its set up in my fathers name and address. everything is going perfect, keeping a low profile ect.

I'm looking at changing it in to a business account but as it is in m fathers name does that mean my business has to be set up in his name also? as it asks for vat number, contact info ect. I'd like to set it up in my name rather than my dads but could i tell ebay its in my dads name even if its in mine? would there be a way of them knowing?

Re: Business Account

That's not stealth!!! Using other people's information will cause problems long term. You need to read the stealth guide and understand what it really is!

Re: Business Account

Not really a stealth account... Its an account using your fathers info. Does your father know?

May want to start again, this time using real stealth info.

Re: Business Account

I read it and it said to use a family members name and address. How am I going wrong?

Yes my father knows but I just want to be able to have my own business in my name

Re: Business Account

You need to read both the guide and the forum to keep upto date. Its now not a good method to use family members names now as it can easily be avoided and saves and possible complications down the line.

Re: Business Account

Thank you. Where do I find the info on the forum? I have no idea where to start.

Also could I still set that account up a business in my fathers name but register it as a business in my own name?

Re: Business Account

yes the book is real good but i just think it has to be updated in the book because if 1 would just purchase a book and not surf the forums he would not know

variation to an address

How do you do this? I cant see how you can change an address but it still be the same?

Thanks

Re: variation to an address

Look into rentable mail boxes.

to have a stealth account do i need an id with a variation of my name?

If so would that not be a problem if I were to register as a business to the taxman or would i give my correct name to them? Or would that not work?

Re: variation to an address

thank you, is this a better idea than to use a po box?

JamesNorth101 03-24-2014 02:37 AM

Re: Business Account

The forum is here to keep the methods upto date. It would be impossible for Aspkin to keep the the book updated to be as current as possible, changes happen everyday on EB and PP so the book would need updating everday. Simply not feasible.

Re: variation to an address

IMO yes, they give you actual street addresses which are vastly better. PP can have issue with PO boxes.

New name and address

I'm getting married in a few months and moving home, would this make it possible for me to open a legit ebay(non stealth)? Im female btw so will have a new second name. The ebay I got banned on was in my name and paypal asked me to upload my driving license which I did because I reached £1900.

After I am married and moved would my passport look like I'm a new person to ebay/paypal?

Re: New name and address

I am not qualified to answer to your question but want to give you something to think about.
Stealth works and having more than one account could be very very handy and money making.
First think about the reason you were banned and then make your move.
You could be banned again with your new "in real name" account.

If you run multiple stealths this will not bother you anymore.

Just my thought.

P.S.: all the best for your marriage and your new house :cheer:

New address is good for stealth :)
