Inkfrog and Auctiva questions for UK users
 

Hi all, I just have a few questions about Inkfrog and Auctiva. I know that some may have been answered here, but sometimes the questions are related just to US users. I am also trying to get a post together to compare the two for UK users....

Can I use Inkfrog/Auctiva from the UK to list on .co.uk?
Do I need a specific user account to use it, or can I log in from anywhere?
Do I need to sign up using the IP address I registered with?
Do I need to log in using my registered IP address each time?
Can I answer customer questions via their website?
Can you edit live auctions? (without bids?)
Can it run multiple stealth accounts from the one account?
How do you pay for your subscription, VCC, PayPal???

Are there any other things I need to consider if using this site? Any other advice would also be helpful, this as this may help other UK users in the future.

Yes

2 - Do I need a specific user account to use it, or can I log in from anywhere?

No

3 - Do I need to sign up using the IP address I registered with?

No. But you must make sure that the IP is different when you get a token between stealth accounts.

4 - Do I need to log in using my registered IP address each time?

No so long as a token is not being fetched. But I would anyway

5 - Can I answer customer questions via their website?

No. Must be done via gmail or ebay

6 - Can it run multiple stealth accounts from the one account?

Yes. See above RE tokens

7 - How do you pay for your subscription, VCC, PayPal???

I would use a VCC

Thanks for the reply, on number 2, does the no refer to that I do not need a specific user account to use it, or that I can log in from anywhere?

When you say reply via gmail, can I just click reply to the email sent and reply to it that way, and the customer will receive it? If that is the car does it matter where I log into my gmail from?
