Has anyone gone 1-2 years without a selling limit increase?
 

As the title says, has anyone here had an ebay account since 1 or 2 years and still stuck at the 25/750 selling limit? If so, was this due to the type of items you were selling?

Or has anybody not had a selling limit increase at all, is that a possibility?

There are rather a few variables for an reply to that question.

Has the account been active during let's say one year?

If the account is active, has it sold to its limits?

If the account is active, is the account in good standing?

Get my drift? More variables that you are considering, imo.

I have accounts that I have been selling on since October still on 25/£750 but I have accounts that I have been selling on since Jan are already up to 120/£12000. Same items being sold.

The program that runs which issues these auto-increases seems to be handing out increases to newer accounts and slightly older ones are getting bypassed at the minute.

Whilst it might be difficult, you need to have patience. Limits increases will come.

The ones with 120/£12,000 limit must be a business seller account right?

Nope. Personal. Been selling on them since the end of Jan.

Even after you have had listings removed for various infractions?

I've got accounts that have been locked to fairly low limits for the last year or so.

Are they locked at 25/750 per month? What were the exact reasons and did eBay actually message you or you just assumed?

I have had accounts with NO violations that have not had increases in about a year`s time so it happens - I got tired of analyzing them so I have other accounts

I have accounts that have not increased in over a year still on the 130 / £3300 - 100% positive & 4.9 / 5.0 / 5.0 / 4.9

Every account is different - cant really generalize based on others' experiences

You appear to forget each account is different. You must take that into account using ebay.

Have accounts from October last year that haven't had any increases, been selling till the limit too.

ok so I've heard that limits get reset/increase on the 1st of each month. Is this true?

I have one which I received the letter from ebay confirming my name and address and got put up to 100/£3500 nearly 2 years ago, business account and often went over the £3500 limit in sales and it has never been automatically increased. Another which I had bought had 25/£750 went up to 850/£17,000 in 3 months despite the fact I dont really sell much on it! I've long given up working out what criteria/trends they have for selling increases, seems a lottery!
