My items take 2 days to show?

So I listed a couple of items 14 hours ago and they still aren't showing when I search for them off other eBay accounts etc. Why is this they are only 24 hour auctions. I'm just about to end them as there's no point in them showing for a couple of hours and me losing money on the items if they go for a couple quid.

Weird.

This happens on new accounts more.
It does say that it can take up to 24 hours for a listing to show before you confirm the listing.

Yes sometimes this happens. Its a combination of how old the accounts is and how busy ebay servers are at the time you were listing.

Also I found from personal experience 24hr auctions are not too clever on new accounts (assuming it is new)
