How many bank accounts can you get?
 

So i now have 4 Halifax accounts, does anybody know the limit for these guys? regards.

I wouldn't personally go over 5 accounts. However, you can look at Bank of Scotland who are owned by Halifax, spread bank accounts across the high street.

I never go over 4 accounts with any bank myself.

Just look towards other banks

HSBC, RBS, BOS are all good

4 is about ideal for any one bank.

Go over the banks you like.

Check what is available to you to open online.

Over a slow period of time, open up more accounts.

Do not open 3 at any one time or even within the same month.

Slow and carefully works best.

Ive found RBS to be Uptight about there accounts.
So i only use them if i really have to.

There security department is very fickle.

Because the last thing you want or need is the Bank going through your accounts and wondering why you have so many accounts....

Yeah spread the banks around.

The last thing you would want is a CIFA on your credit report if any of the banks feel you are abusing their services...
