Default Debit card question

Hi i know using a friend or familys details is something that is not done on here anymore and i am moving away from this method myself however i do have 1 account in a friends details that has 100/3.5k limits and my friend is aware of the risks etc but has no interest in ever using ebay themselves so has told me to go ahead and use the account.

Its a ebay and paypal business account all in her details with her bank/debit card details fully verified. I have added my own bank account and verified it and have also added a vcc also confirmed

Obviously i am going to use my bank account and vcc but i was just curious as to what would happen if i used my bank account but kept the debit card linked?

Would paypal realise they are in different details once money was withdrawn??

We advise to avoid using the debit card assiocated with the bak account becasue of address issues (AVS).

You also must be very very VERY careful what bank is used for this account.

What bank are you using?

I see so they could tell that the debit card address is different to the account address?

No. They cannot see the address on the bank account.

You seem to be confused between a bank account and the debit card associated with the bank account. In Paypal terms, they are completely different.

Given you have used a friend's info, their debit card will pass the AVS check on Paypal. The debit card for YOUR bank account that you added won't pass the AVS check.
