Visa debit/maestro difference???
 

Hi I have mentioned in recents threads that I'm using a friends Ebay/PayPal as one of my stealth accounts even thou its not how I am doing my accounts these days I'm using this one for now.

The question I have is that it already had a maestro card attached to it I have removed the Yorkshire bank and was just going to add my Barclays account when I suddenly thought that Barclays don't give customers maestro cards as far as I know so would PayPal realise the card and the bank don't match?

I may be over thinking things but just wanted to be on the safe side I can easily remove the card and add a vcc if anyone thinks this may be a problem?

You are over-thinking this whole debit card situation.

The card added to Paypal does NOT need to be the debit card for the bank account that is added.

Paypal accounts can have several cards added and also several bank accounts added.

Thanks ebayorbust I had a feeling I was over thinking it all, just really don't want to make any mistakes this time

Iv made 7 accounts past couple of weeks 6 were with stealth details 1 using a friends. It's just the one account its not something I'm doing alot of
