Need To Contact To Upgrade To Business?

So to upgrade they have asked me to contact them during business hours via phone. I'm curious what kind of things they will ask me via phone. I'd like to be as prepared as possible. The account is a variation on my name and is successfully registered to my address and has had no problems with this.

Any advice would be awesome.

Thank you.

Probably basic info such as what you sell, how long have you been in business, are you self employed or limited company etc. What is your turnover/projected profit/ do you have any empoyees (who may need access to the account),

I am only guessing here as Ive had my business account ocer 10 years but this seems like a good guess as to what a financial institution would ask.

Very unusual for them to ask you to contact them by phone to change your account to business.

Changing an account to business is an automated process done on the website. At least it was very recently.

Is the call perhaps to ask for higher selling limits?

I believe so. I ran out of my limits so requested business account. Directly after it asked me to contact them. If it's in reference to raising limits what will they likely ask?

Forum general consensus/recommendation is to avoid calling in to request higher limits

Your choice now is to decide if your account can take the risk of making that call....

there is a chance of bad consequences if you do.

So I've read. I have two accounts. One that has nearly reached it's limit in paypal without submitting docs and one that has reached the selling limit. What would everyone suggest as a course of action short of setting up a new ebay.

Submit docs on the Paypal.

Do nothing in relation to selling limit increases.
