Lifting account limits/Address verification
 

Hello

Does anyone know how ppal confirm the address when we click on "Lift Limits"?

I check all the boxes to lift all limits and after filling in all their forms (sole trader/business type/which categories im selling in/what my annual sales are/average selling price is) it tells me "more information is needed. please upload documents".


This is weird as i used 3 friends real details and 2 relatives details and none of them have ever had ppal/ebay. I used different windows user IDs each time and yahoo email accounts to confirm the email address. didnt add a VCC.

permission was sought from friends and family btw.

Stealth isn't stealth if you are using friends and family information, its bad practise.

Setup with completely anonymous details and upload the relevant documents as they so wish.

You shouldnt use friends or family information on any stealth accounts.
If something goes wrong, you have ruined it for them.

Paypal do checks when you click 'verify address'
If they are not on it, or something doesnt match, it will not work.

If you read their bumf they are supposed to be using things like credit agencies but me thinks they are telling fibs, as i have yet to hear of anyone not to have to send documents. Even when i have helped friends out with their real accounts they have still had to send documents. And they are on the ER and have good credit.

They would have to pay for the service of checking and I think they are just too tight to pay those fees.

My original account which i still sell on today, did not need documents to be uploaded.

Same here my original account with pp never asked for docs i just filled in the online form clicked ok and it all checked out ok

Ive got a couple....all limits lifted, and I think I know how I got them too, but you need accessible address for it....
