mobile numbers

I have created 2 more stealth's accounts and need 2 no the best way to use phone numbers on these and is it
with sims and a old mobile phone?

Re: mobile numbers

I do this way. I buy a cheap SIM and use it for one single account.
I have an old cell that I keep alive for this only purpose.
Keep the numbers active.

Re: mobile numbers

Well it is a cheaper way to use sim cards with a mobile phone.
Since landline companies charge a monthly fee.

Re: mobile numbers

£2.99 a month per phone number forwarded to a number of your choice. Also comes with a whisper to tell you which account that's calling.

£2.99 is a 'business cost' which is not a lot. More efficient than mobile numbers.

Re: mobile numbers

Yes i use soho on my main selling accounts.
But i have used mobile sim cards for all other accounts i have created.

Personally if he is looking not to pay a monthly fee for soho for a number as well as having a minimum balance of £5 in soho account... then mobiles are fine to use... :peace:

Yes mobiles do work of course, a neater approach is to use soho66

Can it forward txts sent by ebay to my mobile?
I was considering giffgaff and a cheap phone as they do sim deals for a fiver a month

Re: mobile numbers

I used to always use sipgate and just create a new account for each ebay account and as the first account is free then it cost nothing.
But this new modem is not playing nice with the online phones and seems no matter what changes I make it will not let them through

Someone on here had a great idea about forwarding all their voip numbers to their skype number, which cost them nothing.

tempted to buy a 10 pound phone and a 5 pound giffgaff sim card

Re: mobile numbers

I have a GiffGaff sim that's at least 1-year old. I only topped it up once (£5), and the tel no is still live! I just use it for incoming calls/text with no issues.

Why do you need to have credit.

Buy an orange sim or most others from your local newsagents for a quid and only add funds if you need to, as I know orange will take the ebay call without funds.
Saves you four quid for each account.

I just don't get the point of paying for credit on a card you will use once to get those four digits.

And twenty pound a shot for one free incoming call for each account you open, you can send me a christmas present any time.

i was looking at a lovely Jag the other day hint hint

Never noticed those sims! I though you had to spend a min of £5, but for under £3 that's quite good as they all add up.

There's usually a limit on max purchases, but there are other vendors out there.
