I have just opened a tesco savings account and is it okay for stealth as it has a direct debit feature?
the good thing was u can do it online in 5 minutes

There is no dd mandate.

The last time I tried to use a Tesco saver to verify it didn't work. The 1p gets deposited but there is no code. I phoned up and they couldn't see the code either.

It certainly is okay to use for withdrawal but it can't be used for verifying. That was the case about 12 months ago. I've not tried again since. Please do update us if you are able to verify with it.

there you go everyone Tesco saver account is good to go and u can have it up and running in 5 mins and get an accounts number and sort code sent

i added a tesco saver but i got some error on paypal about a system error,

is that normal? should i wait a day, move on or burn or what?

is tesco saver ok?

Double trouble.

paypal has many glitches all the time with bank accounts.

If you used the wrong account, that will be an issue too.

Which type did you add?

i will get all the info later tonight ,as i am going to attempt to use that savings account with that pp later as it will be 24 hours since last attempt

Right tried again tonight but didnt work

The message i got back was

'The PayPal server is currently experiencing some difficulties. Please try again later or contact Customer Service.'


The account is: TESCO Instant Access Savings

This often happens with numerous savings accounts, current accounts dont get this glitch.

If you keep getting this error the only way is to ring PayPal and get their customer service team to add it manually for you and it should go through.

I will give it 1 more shot tomorrow.

If that fails, i shall ring them. But im scared to ring them ha ha!
