3v voucher UK not working today on paypal?
 

I have tried twice (once in the morning and once just now in the evening) to add a credit card to my paypal.

I used 3v which I have use before a few times with no problems.

When I tried today, both times an error came up when submitting the card details in paypal.
It said their system was unable to verify the billing address.

However, paypal did take $1 from the card but the card did not attach to the paypal.

Anyone else having this problem today?

You'll will have put the wrong address on 3V website so the card is failing the AVS check.

I am certain I have not put the wrong address on 3v site.

One reason I say this is because on one of my paypal accounts, the original 3v credit card I used ran out so I used another voucher with same address and it did not work.

I also tried a new paypal and 3v and made sure address matched and still no joy.

I'd leave it a couple of days and try again.

There are so many glitches on the Paypal website that it wouldn't surprise me if this is just a temporary problem.

I have just tried again today and still it did not work for me, it just took another $

If I cant get it working, does anyone know how I can get my £15 odd pounds out of my 3v account. I have all the credit card details etc. I have 3 3v accounts with about £15 in each one. I normally send the remaining money in my 3v after verification on paypal to my other paypal and draw it out, but as the paypal 3v is attached to is not working, I cant get my money out of there.

Also, if anyone tried to use 3v today, if you can, let us know if it worked on paypal.

I will try again in a few days.

I have had issues with paypal as well when adding 3v to my accounts.

"We have been unable to verify the billing address" being the common error.

I find playing around with the address, even changing upper case letters to lower and putting the first 2 lines of the address in the first line can make a difference.

On Friday evening, it took 3 attempts for it to accept, and that was not changing anything.

Realisticly anyway, with the way AVS works, as long as the numbers are matching it shouldn't make a difference about the letters. But it does with 3v for some reason. Or it could be paypal.

and today I keep getting an error message on their site when using a new 3v voucher.

The message is 'system failure. Please try again later'

Its really annoying as it lets you input all the details and at the end when you click submit it does not work.

OK, SORRY, my vouchers had expired! I don't know what else to say (shame on me) :rip:
