paypal uk dispute, item being returned help!
Hi
I sold 4 pairs of shoes through gumtree and buyer paid through paypal.
After 4 weeks the idiot opened a dispute and now paypal have agreed to issue a refund when he returns the item to me.
He has added a tracking number ( I sent 4 separate packages so had 4 different tracking numbers) he has only added one tracking number and I have a feeling his upto something dodgy, either his worn them or his going to have something else in there.
How can I stop paypal from issuing him the refund, as only option left in the dispute is to refund him when product is delivered.
If tell postman to send it to local depot and I will collect it later, will that stop paypal from issuing the buyer with a refund?
secondly if I do accept the package and it isn't what its meant to be , what can I do with paypal to inform them and stop them from issuing him the refund as his sent something else back or shoes or worn etc?
