Do i need to attach bank account to PayPal?
 

Would i need to attach a bank account if all i want is a PayPal account for sending payments?

would be used for buying non physical goods.

Your question is unclear.. do you want to add a card to paypal and purchase off ebay? or do you want to send and receive money with the 'send money button' ?

Doing anything on a new unverified paypal account is risky.. especially for the non physical items you are talking about.

for sending money only, will not be used on eBay.

e.g. paying someone as a gift or when purchasing on forum market places.

You might be able to get away with infrequent small purchases, but anything else won't last too long for you.

would it be ok to use PayPal that's attached to eBay to use outside of eBay or should i make a separate PayPal account for that?
