Do I need to Add a Card on Paypal UK to sell on EBAY?
 

Hi to sell on EBay do I need to have a card added on my Paypal UK account?

I signed up and provided bank details which i Confirmed by adding the code from the small credit transaction received in my bank account.

My status shows up as verified.

As long as you have one payment option in payment it should be fine :)
You just need to select to pay your fees by paypal when listing and it will work.

Cool, was worried if I didnt add cards to stealth account then they may see that as a reason to restrict me when I recieve payments or try to make withdrawls.

Select to pay fees by paypal? What if on my first sale i dont have any funds in paypal already? how will paypal collect fees? Surely they would just deduct it themselves automatically from the money that just came in?

Also in another thread, did you not say to me that paypal need my card added and debit made on it to verify my address?

Paypal only take payments once a month usually between the 15-17th of the month, so you have until this time next month to have the funds in your account to pay the fees.

Yes to confirm your address you need to add a card to paypal. But you can add a virtual card to paypal to do this :)

You should have a cc on file - helps for more security on the account AND allows you the option to pay for fees with cc rather than by bank

cool, they should request this. right now they just say i'm verified all is ok.

He means Credi card. i dont know how that helps with security. I'll be using VCC if i have to and I dont want paypal doing debits from it. dont mind the authorisations, as they come straight back to the card.

So to have a card on file does that mean i must also have it confirmed by allowing a charge?
