Help ee mobile broadband dongle not changing ip address?

Hi guys

I have just noticed my EE 4g /alcatel mobile broadband dongle is not changing ip addresses, since last night its been static on one ip address, ive had it out of the laptop unplugged for over 12 hours hoping it wold re-assign a new ip but nothing??

never seen a static dongle maybe its a one off might be worth something in a few years

lol, basically im using whatismyip.com i think thats the site, but im using multiple other sites to cross check it and the ip address has been he same for te past 24 hours, which is no good at all for me especially when i just topped it up £40 :(

Not all dongles IP changes. I had vodaphone before that didnt change. Did you just purchase this? You can ask for a refund, not sure about the top up though.. I use a Three mobile broadband dongle and this one changes every time i take it in and out.

You need to search google and see if anyone else is having your problem.

ive been using it this dongle since febuary its a 4g alcatel ee dongle, the ip was dynamic would change all the time as soon as you take it out and re insert the dongle, however, these last 24 hours, it doesnt want to know, its just static

3 change your IP each time you power cycle the mobile broadband device
so change it or put up with it

What do you mean they change it when you power cycle it? Im trying to change it, its just stuck on the same crap ip

If your IP used to change, have you checked there website for faults?

Or call them and ask them whats up?

Seems to have started to work again, seems almost as if there was no pool of ip's thanks anyway bunneh
